How should I maintain my tool?

After using your tool, a few quick checks will ensure you maintain your tool in good working order.  

• Look for any visible signs of damage to the tool.
• Wipe the tool down to remove any sawdust, grime and dirt.
• A clean paintbrush is ideal for getting in those tricky spaces or a bit of air from your air compressor.
• Inspect power cords for any cuts or damage
• Check that there are no loose parts 
• Lubricate as appropriate any parts that need greasing and oiling
• If blades are blunt, arrange to replace them or have them sharpened.
• Don’t forget to check any accessories in the same way.
• Make sure that you arrange a regular service
